Hi there, I'm Tux, a black and white tuxedo cat. I have a shy side, so I need lots of love and attention to further on my ever-developing personality. I was quite afraid of people when I first came to the House of Mews, but LOOK AT ME NOW! I will be one of the cats that comes and tries to gain your affection when you walk in the door. I'll rub up against you, hop up on the bench next to you, or into your lap, and I LOVE being petted, especially on my head and chin! I can be picked up and even cuddled a little, as well as I enjoy being brushed. I do that stuff even more if TREATS are involved! When more than one cat is vying for your attention, I like to be first so I will swat the other cat! But I don't hurt 'em or anything. Come on, you can see from my picture that I can be "dressed up" so I must be a good cat if I will tolerate that! Now I am not saying I still don't put on the "aloof" act too, so you just have to be patient and understand that I am still a little shy at heart and I'll probably do better in a quiet environment where there aren't things to scare me. Approx. DOB is 4/26/99.
