Pebbles was owner surrendered to Real Good Dog because her youthful energy was more than her senior owner could manage safely--for either of them!
Pebbles weighs 8 lbs. and has the most beautiful strawberry blonde scruffy coat you can imagine. Reserved with strangers at first, Pebbles will warm up once she knows you will treat her like the princess pooch she is. However, her hesitance with strangers means that we feel she will do best in a home with NO KIDS. Be it known, Princess Pebbles will make the final selection on her new adoptive family.
Pebbles appears to be house trained. She plays well with the other small dogs in her foster home, but her FAVORITE of all is her foster mom. It is all about the lap and loving attention for this little princess.
Pebbles loves to play with toys and walks well on lead. She is not very vocal. When she wants to go outside, for example, she simply walks to the door and sits, waiting for her doorperson to let her out.
Pebbles best home will be one that has an solid history of excellent vet care for their current/previous pets and that is able to give her the level of attention and pampering she so deserves. Her number one requirement is a devoted human or two. A safely fenced (she is TINY) yard is also required.
Pebbles is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, on preventives, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $150.

We adopt dogs from Memphis Animal Shelter when we can. The shelter has an 83% euthanasia rate, one of the highest in the country. Unfortunately, any dog coming from Memphis Animal Shelter, and most other shelters for that matter, will have been in contact with contagious illness. Even though the dogs have been in foster care and appear to be in good health, they may become stressed when changing environments and exhibit signs and symptoms of illness. If you have other pets, they need to be up to date on vaccines before bringing a shelter dog into your home. We will take the adopted animal back, but we are not responsible for your other animal's vet care. We always disclose where the dogs have come from. Please ask for any information about the dogs and exercise due caution if you have immunocompromised animals.
