Introducing Alcy!
This little chunk of puppy love was brought into the animal emergency center in Memphis. Sadly, most dogs without owners get a quick transfer over to the city pound. But turns out Miss Alcy had an angel looking over her because the night she came into the ER there was a very special vet tech named Amy working. Amy works at our regular vet and we have called upon her a number of times as a rescue. Usually those calls are from us and along the lines of Amy, were headed your way with a sick pup.
But this night was different and the call came from Amy to us, Theres an awesome pup here, I really dont want her going to the shelter. There is something really special about her.
An endorsement from Amy? Well of course we can help her! And so it was, Alcy went to Amys house where she fit right in with her crew (old cat, and two other dogs - one big, one little.). She learned to use the dog door and is house trained. Alcy is about 4 months old and looks to be some sort of a lab mix, though shes not entirely sure what shell be when she grows up. We do know that she will be a wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Alcys adoption fee includes her spay surgery, microchip, up to date vaccinations.
