Meet FIONA! FIONA is a love bug with impeccable manners. She is the perfect companion for any family. She has a gentle nature about her and captures the hearts of everyone she meets. She enjoys playing but, unlike many shepherds and huskies, no daily runs are required to keep this girl happy. FIONA enjoys spending her days hanging with her foster family, playing with her doggy roommate, getting belly rubs and napping in the sun. She is an equal mix of snuggle on the couch and frolic in the backyard. She will show you just how special she thinks you are by cuddling up close, giving kisses and gazing at you with her eyes full of gratitude. She is excellent in the car, so you can include her in all of your family adventures. FIONA can't wait to share her life with her new forever family. Youll be guaranteed to fall in love with her in no time flat!
FIONA is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
Her $490 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the New England area once she is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted,some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and our own private transport for our Midwest adopters (/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
