Are your skills at analyzing data and making insightful, actionable recommendations going unused? If so, then we need to chat.
Unless youve been living under a rock, you know that digital marketing has been exploding over the past few years, and the growth rate shows no signs of slowing. Our clients are expanding their digital budgets, and they need to know what they are getting for that increased spending.
We need a hard-core number-crunching fiend who can crunch and analyze data, make sense of the numbers, and translate everything into a presentation that an old-school CMO can easily understand. You up for the challenge?
Requirements:
- Experience working as an analyst for at least three years, with daily hands-on use of widely accepted tools of the trade (Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, etc.) and making recommendations from the findings
- Bachelors degree in marketing, finance, QBA/statistics or comparable field, and a genuine affinity and/or passion for data work
- An attention to detail that often gets you labeled as perfectionist or anal retentive by colleagues and coworkers
- High degree of interaction and familiarity with SEM platforms, ESPs and display media platforms
- Working knowledge of and basic familiarity with digital media planning/research tools and social media monitoring platforms
- High degree of familiarity with SEO practices
- A willingness to get out from behind your monitor and present your findings effectively to clients and teammates
Bonus points:
- Advanced degree, certification or training in number crunching or data analysis
- Digging the high-pressure, fast-paced environment that is the norm in agency life
- Demonstrated track record in critical thinking and problem solving that led to measurable improvement
How will you spend your days?
- Monitor, evaluate and report digital campaign performances from launch to completion
- Manage and execute reporting via Google Analytics to assess website activity, including visitor engagement, conversion and retention rates, and key performance indicators
- Observe and evaluate site audience behavior and make recommendations to improve overall user experience for clients websites
- Present data to internal customers, agency clients and prospects in a digestible format with the ability to highlight key takeaways and make actionable recommendations
- Work with development team to ensure analytic tags are placed properly so reporting requirements are met
- Define, communicate and enforce web analytics standards and policies
- Conduct A/B and multi-variant test plans, analyze results, and recommend improvements
- Develop and analyze SEO practices
